God is Queer is a young, multidisciplinary queer artist. Their work emerged after an overdose of kitsch, which very early on marked their artistic aesthetic with a particular interest in queer representations and interpretations of Christian theology.

Through various techniques and mediums, Christian symbols and imageries are reinvented by drawing from repressed histories, broken destinies, and iconic martyrs. This catchy universe is full of multiple pop and queer references.

His practice particularly explores queer theology, religious symbols, and objects of worship, especially crucifixes, which he reinterprets in order to offer an uninhibited perspective. For some people, particularly queer individuals, this universe embodies a form of symbolic violence, conveying heteronormative, patriarchal, or moralistic norms. His approach consists of reappropriating and subverting them to offer a new, inclusive, and liberating interpretation. This approach is part of a dynamic of reversal and reappropriation of stigmatizing forms, characteristic of many queer artistic practices.
